Mrs. Mock became the Elementary Assistant Principal in March of 2024.

 

She came to Richland Elementary as a teacher in 2010. She taught almost two years of STEAM for grades K-6. During that time she was also the LAMBTV coordinator. She was also a 5th-grade ELA teacher for ten years, a 4th-grade teacher for one year, and the Remote Learning Specialist during the 2020-2021 school year. Mrs. Mock was also the founder and an advisor for the Richland Elementary Student Council and was a Jr. High Cheerleading coach from 2010-2014. 


Before coming to Richland, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2003). She went on to teach at Ferndale Area School District for four years. During that time, she completed her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Gannon University. 


In 2020, she also completed the Principal Certification Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.


She is also a Certified Google Educator (Levels I and II).


Mrs. Mock feels very blessed to work in such a wonderful school district with the most amazing students, parents, staff, faculty members, and administrators. When Mrs. Mock isn't at school, she enjoys coaching cheerleading and spending time with her family and friends, including her husband, her daughter, and her dog, Gracie.
