2008 Richland Presidential Mock Electon & Statical Breakdowns:

This year the student body at Richland Jr/Sr High School participated in a mock Presidential election.  The voting process was electronic through the Google documents online web survey creator.  Mr Bassett, the social studies teachers and I created the ballot that included survey questions about various topics related to the election. The results were available real-time as the students voted.  My Honors Trigonometry students were broken into 5 groups and were assigned different topics to analyze, some by grade and some by gender.  They used animoto.com to create a presentation of their findings. Once the results were broken down, they were distributed back to the Social Studies teachers, so every student in the school had a chance to watch the videos.
