I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your students back to Richland School District for another school year. For those who are new to our school community I would like to extend a special welcome. I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer.

The staff and I look forward to working with you to achieve our shared goal of helping your students achieve his/her potential in a setting that is motivating and challenging. Many staff members have worked hard over the summer, attending staff development opportunities and taking graduate courses in preparation for this school year. We are committed to excellence and meeting the needs of all students.

 To start the school year off right here is some useful information

• First day of school is Wednesday August 27, 2008
• High School starts at 7:20 am
• Elementary School starts at 8:00 am.
• Students who drive must have a parking permit.
• Cell phones must be turned off at all times.
• Students need to come prepared with paper, pens and pencils, teachers will notify students of any supplies they might need.
