I have loved teaching for over 30 years. I have been a primary teacher for most of my career and love working with children. I believe that children are the best part of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Outside of school, I live in Richland with my husband. I have two married daughters.  One of them is a teacher too!  I am also a proud grandma!

Language Arts 11-16 to 11-20

We are finishing up the story How Chipmunk Got his stripes and moving into the story Jellyfish.
Skills include adding ed and ing, synonyms and characterization:
In the story, Jellyfish, we will be focusing a lot on facts and opinions.
Homework:
Tuesday:  study spelling and vocab for test
Wednesday: test --no homework
Thursday: See new packet complete spelling paper

Math 11-16 to 20

We are working on time and place value (ones, tens, hundreds)
Homework: 
Tuesday: homelinks 4-4
Wednesday: homelinks 4-5
Thursday: homelinks 4-6

Lang. Arts. Nov. 8-10

We are starting to work on traditional tales.  We will be reading the story "How Chipmunk Lost his Stripes."
We will be working on synonyms, dividing words into syllables, verbs in the present tense(add ing to them) and past tense (add ed to verb) as well as characterization.
Homework:
Monday: See new packet complete spelling page
Tuesday: Read story, sign bookmark
Wednesday: No homework

Math 11-8 to 10

We are working on telling time.
Homework:
Monday: homelinks 4-1
Tuesday: homelinks 4-2
Wednesday: none
