I have loved teaching for over 30 years. I have been a primary teacher for most of my career and love working with children. I believe that children are the best part of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Outside of school, I live in Richland with my husband. I have two married daughters. One of them is a teacher too! I am also a proud grandma!

Math: We are working on geometry: study of shapes and sizes.

Language Arts: We are working on stories about people who made a difference. Spelling pattern is ou and ow like ouch. Other skills include: point of view, suffixes, and pronouns.
Homework: Monday: Do spelling sheet
Tuesday: plural sheet
Wednesday: read story - sign bookmark
Thursday: study spelling and vocab.
We have finished all the lower case cursive letters. Look for the paper to come home. Please help your child continue to practice and read cursive writing. I think they are doing great!

Language Arts: This is a review week. I emailed you a practice study guide. It will also be sent home. We will be reviewing skills and literature stories. We will also work with a fourth grade class this week on poetry.
Homework: Watch agenda for stories to read and go over practice sheet.
No spelling or vocab test this week.
