Mr. Jugan's Biography

Hi...I am Scott Jugan.  I am a graduate of the Richland School District (class of 1990) and a life-long resident of Richland Township. I graduated from IUP in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and again in 2001 with a Master's Degree in Special Education. I was employed with the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 08 for thirteen years before coming to Richland Elementary in September of 2013. After three years at the elementary school, I am now teaching at the high school.  I teach Learning Support Literature classes, 8th through 12th grade.  I also work as an English Language Development (ELD) specialist and teach a class of English learners.  Additionally, I coach/advise the middle school/high school forensics team. No matter where or what I may be teaching, I am very proud to be doing it here at Richland! 👍
