About Me

Hi! I am so excited for this school year and hope that I have a great year working with your children! I am teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish History and Culture this year!

I began learning Spanish in 7th grade at Westmont Hilltop High School. After graduation from Westmont, I continued my Spanish education at the University of Pittsburgh with majors in Spanish, History, Western European Studies, and Latin American Studies. I spent a semester abroad in Alcala de Henares, Spain to strengthen my Spanish language skills. After graduation from Pitt, I enrolled at St. Vincent College to study education and I received my teaching certification in both Spanish and Social Studies there.

I began my teaching career at Shade-Central City High School and taught Spanish and English there for one year. I have been at Richland since 2011 and love our district and the kids! Please email me with any questions or concerns!
