Welcome to the Math Cave. Being an extraordinary mathlete takes hard work and dedication.
Hi, I am Mr. Johnson! I am a math teacher here at Richland High School. Currently I teach all levels of geometry at the high school. I have also taught Precalculus, Integrated Math 12, and Algebra I Keystone/PSSA Intervention during my time here.
Along with being a certified 7-12 Mathematics Teacher, I am also a certified K-12 Business Teacher. My educational background: I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education. I received my Masters' of Education from St. Francis University in 2017. Most recently, I completed my Principal Certification from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
As a student, I have learned that there is so much to learn in this world and I have become passionate about continuing to learn more about the world around me. As a teacher, I try to pass that passion on to my students. I am truly lucky that I get to work at a school like Richland, where the students, parents, staff, administration, and the community all believe in the importance of a good education. I know that I have a biased opinion, however I believe that Richland is the top school in the area.
If you have got to this page, I thank you for your support, and I hope that you or your children have seen how much this school cares about you, and how much I enjoy seeing all of the good things that you do.
I always enjoy hearing from students, former or current, about the success that you have had. So if you ever get an opportunity to reach out to me, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
to update me on where you are today.
