About Me

Hi, I am Beth Mahood and am proud to be a Richland High School teacher.  I have come into the profession honestly in that my father, Joseph Huber, taught chemistry at Richland, and my mother, Carolyn Huber, taught Spanish and English at the former Johnstown Votech.  I currently teach Seventh Grade Literature, but in my teaching career I have taught all grade levels from seventh through twelfth! When I am not preparing lesson plans and grading tests and essays, I am reading, hiking, cooking, or watching my favorite football teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penn State Nittany Lions!  Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions.  Please see your child's grades and assignments in power school.
