I have loved teaching for over 30 years. I have been a primary teacher for most of my career and love working with children. I believe that children are the best part of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Outside of school, I live in Richland with my husband. I have two married daughters.  One of them is a teacher too!  I am also a proud grandma!

Today with the help of the IT department our Language Arts class got to meet their pen pals from Culpeper VA.  It was truly a great experience to make a visual connection to friends we have been writing to all year.

Here is our class with our rock pen pal letters and the Culpeper Rocks we received.  In Culpeper, VA rocks are painted and hidden all over the town.  When someone finds one, it is posted on the Culpeper Rocks website.
