Dear Richland Staff,
On Monday, February 16, we are excited to host Jim Van Allan at the Richland Performing Arts Center for an inspiring session on The Energy Bus for Schools. As the host district, our morning will include a specific track for sharing best practices with our colleagues from Conemaugh Twp, Ferndale, and Forest Hills before the keynote session.

8:00 – 8:30 AM: Registration & Refreshments (Richland PAC and Cafeteria)
8:35 – 9:20 AM: Content-Specific Sharing of Best Practices
9:45 – 11:15 AM: Keynote: Jim Van Allan – The Energy Bus for Schools
11:15 – 12:30 PM: Lunch
12:30 – 1:20 PM: Richland School District Faculty Workshop
1:20 – 1:25 PM: Faculty and Administration Group Photo
1:30 – 3:30 PM: TBD
Logistics & Parking:
While we are hosting at our own high school, please be mindful that we will have guests from three other districts and the community. If the main lot is full, overflow parking is available at Penn Highlands Community College.
About the Speaker: Jim Van Allan is the Vice President of Schools for The Energy Bus for Schools program. He works alongside Jon Gordon to help educators overcome negativity and build high-performing school cultures. We look forward to a morning of refueling our "bus" and focusing on a positive-first approach for our students.
