Richland School District plans to demolish Rachel Hill school

The longtime Rachel Hill Elementary School’s days are apparently numbered. Richland school board members informed Superintendent Arnold Nadonley to begin taking steps toward having the vacant school demolished – by winter, if possible.

Richland High School Ranks Number One in Region in Average SAT Scores

The Pennsylvania Department of Education has posted the SAT college entrance exam scores for school districts throughout the state where the test was administered in 2016. Richland High School ranked highest among IU8 high schools, with an average combined score of 1577. Click here for a full statewide list.

Richland School District Gold Card Membership

The Gold Card is one way that Richland School District recognizes and honors senior citizen members of the school community. It provides an opportunity for senior citizens to take advantage of the programs and events provided by the school district. All residents of the Richland School District who are at least 62 years or over and all retired employees of the school district are eligible for membership in the Richland School District Gold Card program.
