Substitute/Long Term Certified School Counselor

Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania certificate as a School Counselor. The current vacancy requires a minimum certification of Secondary School Counselor and is necessary until the position is formally filled. Interested candidates who are not retired under PSERS can apply to the district. Any PSERS retirees interested in serving as a substitute or long-term substitute can apply through Ignite Education Solutions, so as not to negatively impact PSERS retirement, or apply through the district with emergency permission from PSERS.

Interested and qualified applicants should submit current Act 34, Act 151, & Act 114 clearances, a letter of interest, a current resume (including a current email address), a fully completed Standard PA Teaching Application, transcripts, certification, and three (3) references less than one (1) year old as noted below.
