Richland School Board Approves Tentative Budget With No Tax Increase

  On May 20, 2019, the Richland Board of School Directors approved a tentative budget for the 2019-2020 school year in the amount of $23,648,521 with No Real Estate Millage (No tax increase).  The budget will be on public display until June 24, 2019 at which time it will be voted on for final approval.   The final budget cannot include a millage increase under the law after being tentatively approved.

 

   Richland School District has led the four (4) county Appalachia Intermediate Unit 08 in academic achievement for two consecutive years in the Pittsburgh Business Times rankings of all 500 public school districts in Pennsylvania.   What is more, the Richland School District spends less than 487 of the 500 Pennsylvania Public School Districts.    Please see the link to this story at:
