 Greetings from Mr. Kubay!    
 
   I am a proud graduate of Richland and have the privilege to have returned to my alma mater to be a teacher.   I teach the US History I and Civil War Elective courses.     I have a passion for this country we call home and I'm fascinated by how the past has shaped who were are now, and continuing to effect what we are to become.  To understand the past I travel extensively to those places where momentous things happened in our nation's history, and enjoy bringing the stories to life to our students.  And even on occasion I may be seen wearing the silly looking clothes from the past at historical reenactments.
 
   I look forward to teaching all my students about how the great experiment called America began!
