hello Richland my name is Virgil wintering in Ice Age World cultures here at the high school I've been a teacher for 23 years now and been teaching world's cultures since the beginning here at Richland it's basically an Eastern Sea Of course that all sophomores will have to take it say cultural Geographic perspective of the different peoples and different countries that will peel out of certain regions in the Eastern hemisphere different elements of certainly look at the government will look at the economics of the particular place or particular group of people make a living do they contribute to a global economy gain anything from their is well we'll take a look at for example religion the different religions that and how that affects people in their environment and the global environment as well and so there are number a different perspectives material is laid out in this course hopefully our students will learn how to analyze different perspectives and see where everybody's coming from in that manner I do not have classroom a Google Classroom established at the making of this video but by the first day of school I will your student will be in that Google Classroom you will be able to see what's going on as well and in my course I will post syllabus everyone will get the code obviously the syllabus will let everybody know this is difficult for sometimes to teach whenever you deal with different religion no one here is trying to convert anyone we're just taking a look at the different religions that exist and how they affect individuals within a particular environment also the course will take a look at I guess I should list the countries or the Region's anyway we'll start in the Middle East and Africa will learn all the countries in Africa their location because we'll look at geography as well then we moved from Africa up into the Indian subcontinent and in the former Soviet Union and finish with China it's a long course is arduous in a lot of manners sometimes it can be boring I know that and always make things all fun and games what I'm going to do my best to try to do so all you'll need basically is a small notebook for this class I will post notes on the Google Classroom as well with this new normal I guess it's a way to put it I don't know exactly where I'm going to start and finish with online stuff so I'm going to do as much online as I can understand that's about it watch the Google classroom do you have any questions email me if you want to rain.
