Make Your Family Count | 2020 Census

The census determines over $1 trillion in federal spending each year for programs that help give children a strong start in life–like quality early education, healthcare, nutrition, and housing support. But the number of young children left uncounted is large and growing: in 2010, an estimated 1 in 10 children under age 5 were missed—that’s more than 2 million uncounted children! Sesame Street is working to make sure neighborhoods across the country make their families count by including babies and kids on their census forms.

Richland School District Expands Grab & Go Breakfast and Lunch Program

Beginning on Monday, April 20th, ALL children through the age of 18 will have access to the free breakfast and lunch program. Richland School District has just been approved to feed any child, 18 and under, from the community regardless of what school the child attends. This includes Pre-K, Head Start, childcare, as well as children from local private schools.
