District Institutes Optional Mask Wearing and Modifies Quarantine Process - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, Richland School District will be reverting back to voluntary mask-wearing on campus. However, please note that it is still a federal requirement that passengers and drivers must wear a mask on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems. This requirement will be enforced. In addition, the Richland School District will be modifying its quarantining process to allow healthy students to be permitted to remain in school if no COVID-19 symptoms are present.

COVID-19 Stimulus Funds Expenditure Background and Summary Report

In an effort to increase transparency with our families, friends, and community, the Richland School District has
developed this public document to illustrate the manner in which $3,462,592.00 in federal COVID-19 stimulus funds are being expended for the period of 2020 to 2024.

RSD ALERT: One Hour Delay on Friday, January 21st

RSD ALERT: 1 hour delay - January 21, 2022

Due to the predicted windchills at the time of bus pickup., Richland School District will be opening 1 hour late on Friday, January 21st. Parents are strongly encouraged to dress their young children for the bus stops with layered clothing which also includes heavy socks, gloves, and a hat. Secondary students are also encouraged to dress appropriately for the cold weather.

January 24, 2022 Board Meeting Canceled

The Richland School District Board of Directors Meeting on Monday, January 24, 2022 has been canceled. Meetings will resume with the regularly scheduled February 28, 2022 meeting unless otherwise advertised.
