Welcome to 3rd and 4th grade Learning Support. Below are some classroom procedures.
Classroom reminders:
Students have 2 chances at spelling tests. ** Students will get the better of the two scores.*** If a student does not get 100% on the pre-test, they can take the test the following day. Typically, spelling pre-tests are on Thursdays and tests on Friday (unless a student receives 100% on the pre-test). Vocabulary tests are also on Fridays. Students make and bring home vocabulary cards at the beginning of the week for vocabulary tests. Math and spelling homework completion is apart of students' grades. Please check agendas for any homework that needs to be done. Also, students are encouraged to read at home. Students will have a Reading Log in the "bring back" side of their folder. Anytime the student reads at home, please track the time on the reading log. Students are rewarded in class for time read at home.

Week of: 10-27-25 Teacher in-service Monday. Halloween parade Friday.
Spelling words:slight, mild, sight, pie, mind, tie, pilot, might, liem tight, blind, fight, dies, midnight, find, night
Grade 4: Reading/ELA - We will continue in our Wonders Series. Students will read Kids in Business. They got new vocabulary words. Students also got new spelling words. The pre-test on these will be Wednesday, Oct. 29 with the test on Thursday, Oct. 30 for anyone who did not get 100% on the pretest. There will also be a vocabulary and comprehension quiz on Thursday, Oct. 30. Students will review past tense action verbs.
Math - Students will review basic math concepts this week.
