Welcome to 3rd and 4th grade Learning Support. Below are some classroom procedures.
Classroom reminders:
Students have 2 chances at spelling tests. ** Students will get the better of the two scores.*** If a student does not get 100% on the pre-test, they can take the test the following day. Typically, spelling pre-tests are on Thursdays and tests on Friday (unless a student receives 100% on the pre-test). Vocabulary tests are also on Fridays. Students make and bring home vocabulary cards at the beginning of the week for vocabulary tests. Math and spelling homework completion is apart of students' grades. Please check agendas for any homework that needs to be done. Also, students are encouraged to read at home. Students will have a Reading Log in the "bring back" side of their folder. Anytime the student reads at home, please track the time on the reading log. Students are rewarded in class for time read at home.

Mental Health Resources

Week of: 5-11-26 This Tuesday, students will have the chance to interact with a musher. They will get to stand on and experience a musher's sled and equipment. Pictures will be posted on the school's facebook page. We had a great time on our trout release field trip. Check out the school's facebook page for pictures of the fun-filled day!!
Spelling words - horse, mark, storm, market, acorn, artist, March, north, barking, stork, thorn, forest, chore, restore, dark, story The pretest will be Thursday, May 14 and the test will be Friday, May 15.
Grade 4: Reading/ELA - We will continue the chapter book, Charlotte's Web. Students will also complete a writing prompt.
Math - Students will continue Unit 7: liquid measures, fraction multiplication, fractions as parts of a unit fraction, multiplying fractions by whole numbers, multiplying mixed numbers by whole numbers, division number stories, identifying patterns, multistep number stories, decimal number stories, displaying data. Unit 7 test will be Friday.
Grade 3: Reading/ELA - We will continue the chapter book, Charlotte's Web. Students will also complete a writing prompt.
Math - Students will continue Unit 7: liquid volume, arrays, number stories with measures, fraction strips, fractions on a number line, comparing fractions, fractions in number stories, fractions of collections. Unit 7 test will be Friday.
