Non-Discrimination and Title IX Information

It is the policy of the Richland School District to ensure an equal opportunity in admissions, employment and programs, services, and activities without any consideration of an individual’s race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and/or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. The Richland School District’s policies are publicly available and located on the Richland School District website, including how to submit reports and/or complaints of sex discrimination and the pertinent grievance procedures concerning same.

The Richland School District also declares it to be the policy of the Richland School District to comply with federal law and regulations under Title IX prohibiting sexual harassment, which is a form of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex. Inquiries regarding the application of Title IX to the Richland School District may be referred to the Title IX Coordinator, to the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education, or both.
