I have loved teaching for over 30 years. I have been a primary teacher for most of my career and love working with children. I believe that children are the best part of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Outside of school, I live in Richland with my husband. I have two married daughters.  One of them is a teacher too!  I am also a proud grandma!

Here are some of our classmates as snowmen.  This was one of the games we had at our Christmas party.  Thanks to the moms and dad who came to make our party fun!
 
Here is Bentley playing snowball toss in our Christmas rotations.  Other classes had charades, ipads and other games.

No homework for Wednesday or Thursday
 
Spelling will not be tested this week...just practiced

Math Dec 16 to 20

We will be reviewing and taking a midbook test.
There will be no homework this week in math.  
 

Here are our "gift" pen pal letters from Emerald Hill Elementary.  They are from Mrs. Burgh's 3rd grade class.  We were all wished a very Merry Christmas.
Here is our class dressed for Christmas.  Donations from richland Elementary are given to the WKYE wishes of Christmas.

Book It

Congratulations to Abhinav, Azalea, Connor, Kynleigh and Talyn who returned their Book It for November.  Remember to be reading for December.

Lang. Arts Dec. 9 to 13

Wednesday: Read Talk About Smart Animals
Thursday: Study vocab and spelling words.

Math 11-25 to 11-27

Monday: Work on place value  Homework: homelinks 4-5
Tuesday: review day Test on +1 -1 and +0 and -0 no homework

Reading 11-25 to 27

We will be reviewing Unit 2 skills through Literature and Thanksgiving stories.   No new vocab or spelling words.

Math 11-18 to 11-22

We are working on time and money.
Monday: Homelinks 4-1
Tuesday: Homelinks 4-2
Wed: Homelinks 4-3
Thurs: Homelinks 4-4
