Dr. Kelly Lashinsky

Elementary School Assistant Principal, Richland School District

I began working as the Assistant Principal at Richland Elementary School in November 2016. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Pennsylvania State University in 2004, my Masters in Literacy and Reading Specialist Certificate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2010, and my Principal Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Most recently, I received my Ph.D. from Robert Morris University. I began my administrative career at Westmont Hilltop High School. In addition, before coming to Richland Elementary School, I worked at Central Cambria School District for ten years as a 5th grade teacher, 6th grade ELA teacher, and ELA Department Chair.

 

I believe in academic success for all students by shaping a hospitable environment conducive to learning and growing. I believe I directly impact the classroom by supporting effective instruction, setting high expectations, and promoting citizenship within the our school community.
